Notes: Chanson de Nuit was written to get Elgar out of financial difficulties. It is in fact a very beautiful and passionate piece which he later orchestrated, due to its popularity. This version is of equal importance to all parts and is for 2 Trumpets, Horn, Trombone and Tuba.
